Pierre has created a super clean, crisp anime world, even cleverly sneaking in some visual cameos of his signature Graphic designer touch - geometric shapes.

It was such a honor to create the music for his visual realization. A total dream team project. But, most importantly, we really hope the kids enjoy this workshop!

Hmm... What's new?

Yom Kippur was really nice, went to a service with my mom and fasted like a champ. My post-fast meal was plate of General Tso's Chicken from down the way. It was sweet and spicy bliss.

I received a cool email from Sony telling me that my quote for their Miles Davis Fan Project release will be used in the linear note for the digital release! How cool is that? I think my Grandfather would really be proud/ happy. It's because of him I fell in love with jazz. So, I must mail out these release forms this week.

On the music side of things, my album is currently being mixed by my good friend/ mentor, Agoria. I'm totally excited and can't wait to hear. I'm completely on edge, but in a good sense.

I'll be returning to Paris in December, hopefully, to work on my promo shoot, album artwork, and rehearsing with great intensity from my live show! I can't wait! So much excitement!

It's going to be a very busy winter/ new year.

After returning from Paris and celebrating my 23 birthday on Friday I'm feeling so very motivated. I think no matter the outcome of my current endeavors, all that matters is that I tried my darnedest to succeed.

It's so unhealthy and unnecessary to blame oneself for life's untimely bumps and hiccups. I'm defintiely a product of such thinking. I was at a standstill for quite sometime after having to drop out of school two years ago. Totally depressed... But, overtime I healed and forgave myself over circumstances I had no control over. Now, in 2011, I'm sitting here in the back room where the music and dreams began, waiting with a giddy sense of anticipation for the release of my album.

The recording experience in Paris was totally amazing. I sincerely appreciate the positive and constructive guidance during the strenuous process. My music is such a vast extension of my personal experiences and stories. It was so important for me to be around people who understood that and who would strive to bring out the best in me.

And... they did.

Now that I’ve finally made it through the mass of clothing on my studio floor, I think I should at least pen some thoughts for the impending month. . .

I’ve been back at home slowly coming down the high of touring with dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip, Misty’s Big Adventure and GAGGLE. It was absolutely marvelous. A dream. I’m looking forward to all of their future projects. Keep your ears and eyes on them.

Since I’ve returned to the States, jetlag has been pretty hard to beat. I think I've finally fallen back into my old habits: job hunting and creating/ producing/ writing demos for my LP. Recession crusader by day, musical creator by night.

2O11 is slowly creeping up on the calendar. It should be interesting to see how everything unfolds. Keep an ear out for two special collaborative tracks I wrote: "Kiss My Soul" & "Heart Beating" for Agoria's upcoming LP, Impermanence.
